Balacta combines Lactobacillus acidophilus LAC 361 and Bifidobacterium longum BB536 strains. It ensures an almost complete colonization of the intestinal tract from the small to the large intestine. L. acidophilus LAC 361 and B. longum BB536 are the two most effective bacteria for treating and preventing diarrhea. These strains work in synergy to compete against bad bacteria, like C. difficile, and do so in the entire digestive system. Balacta improves gastro-intestinal comfort and to be used with antibiotic treatments. It is also recommended to take Balacta in cases of inflammatory diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis) and for people suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.

Directions
Adults and children (1 year and more): Dilute a teaspoon in a small amount of liquid, preferably on an empty stomach. Take one to two times daily, as needed or according to a health care practitioner recommendation. Sore throats and oral ulcers: Dissolve the content of one teaspoon in water and gargle 4 to 6 times a day. The powder can also be applied directly on the ulcers. Vaginitis : Dissolve one teaspoon in a small amount of water and have a vaginal douche once or twice a day. Take orally at the same time.

Warnings and risk statements: Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhoea) occur, worsen or persist for more than 3 days. Do not use if security seal is damaged. Keep in a cool, dry place. Contraindications: Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immune- compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). This product has been in contact with dairy products. Do not use if you are allergic to dairy products.
